The official immigration DNA case is opened directly between you and an AABB-accredited relationship-testing laboratory. Pacific Crest coordinates and performs the authorized Oregon and Washington-side collection once the laboratory establishes the case.
Who does what in an immigration DNA case.
Immigration DNA cases follow a strict sequence. Knowing which step you are on tells you exactly what Pacific Crest can do next.
- 01Agency request
You receive a notice or request from USCIS, IRCC, an embassy, or a consulate. Not every immigration matter requires DNA testing.
- 02You open the lab case
The petitioner or authorized customer opens the case directly with an AABB-accredited relationship-testing laboratory.
- 03Laboratory authorization
The laboratory establishes the case and provides or approves the required collection process for each participant.
- 04Pacific Crest collects in Oregon and Washington
We perform the authorized Oregon and Washington-side collection under documented chain of custody and return specimens to the laboratory.
